Job Context

  • Project: Preventing and responding to Gender Based Violence and other forms of Violence among women, girls and boys in Kutupalong Camps 11 & 12 (Funded by UNICEF)
  • Location of posting: Ukhiya, Cox`s Bazar
  • Types of contract: Fixed term contract
  • Duration of Contract: Up to 09 December 2021
  • Number of positions: 2 (Women are encouraged to apply)

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide both vocational and Life skill training to the participants
  • Group formation, orientation and develop business plan
  • Prepare training schedule
  • Visit home to home of Rohingya community
  • Prepare report on trade activities
  • Prepare requisition for Raw materials and equipment
  • Maintain the training equipment that are used at center
  • Ensure attendance and maintain all kinds of register regarding the participants
  • Prepare report and success stories on a regular basis

Additional Requirements

  • Experience in the relevant sector is preferable.
  • Experience in training with focus on skills development and business
  • Local Language Proficiency
  • Facilitation skill
  • Understanding of training, skills development and income generation
  • Ability to work independently and foster a team spirit;
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines;
  • Skills in documentation and presentation;
  • Gender sensitive and familiar with humanitarian principles
