BENGALURU: Two brothers were arrested for allegedly selling MDMA and ganja near KR Puram railway station.
The accused are Pradeep SM, 31, and Prasanna SM, 28, residents of Mahadevapura. Cops recovered 12 grams of MDMA, 500 grams of ganja and Rs 400 cash from them.
A police team led by sub-inspector Mounesh got to know about the duo waiting near the station around 8pm on September 2 and detained them.
The accused said they’d procured ganja for Rs 15,000 per kg and MDMA for Rs 2,000 per gram from a person at KGF railway station. They brought the drugs to Bengaluru and sold them at a higher price to make quick money. Police said they are trying to trace the KGF peddler who supplied the drugs to the suspects.
